What Saronite stores, and why. Last updated October 2026.

What a published report contains

Everything in the combat log you upload: character names, classes, damage, healing, buffs and deaths for every pull. Reports are public, and their kills appear on Tops, the Ladder and character pages.

The raw log file itself, compressed, so our servers can parse it again (for rankings, and whenever the parser improves). It isn't offered for download.

The report title you chose, the realm, and the name of the character who wrote the log.

About the person uploading

No account, email or name is needed. To limit uploads to 10 per hour per connection, we store a scrambled version of your IP address (a salted SHA-256 hash), never the address itself, with the time of each upload.

Your browser stores a key for each report you publish (in its local storage) so you can rename it later. We only store a hash of that key.

What we don't do

No ads, no analytics or tracking scripts, no cookies for tracking, and nothing is sold or shared. The site's hosting providers (Vercel, Neon and Cloudflare) process data only to run it.

Removing a report or a character

Reports can't be deleted by uploaders, so raid history stays complete. If a report was published by mistake, or you want your character's data removed, ask through the Support page and we'll handle it.

Questions: see Support.
